    Requirements to Stay in Paradise

    Vaccinations

All dogs must have all of their vaccinations up to date, no exceptions.

    This includes:
    1. Rabies
    2. Parvovirus
    3. Distemper
    4. Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

We also insist on your dog being treated with a flea, lice, mite treatment when staying with us, such as Revolution or Advantage.

    Trained and Socialized?

Since we are a social kennel with dogs interacting with both people and other dogs their must be no aggression toward either human or K-9 in order to keep a safe environment here in Paradise. So all dogs must be well socialized and comfortable with other dogs and people.

If you are unsure about your dogs reaction to a lively, fun kennel atmosphere not to worry, all dogs are more then welcome for a first time trial stay. The trainer then decides if your dog will be able to come back and enjoy the daily festivities, making sure the temperament test has been passed and your dog has been observed being social and having fun.

Also if you decide for your dog to be one of the many lucky off leash dogs, to enjoy the walks with the other dogs in our very own personal off leash dog park here in the country your dog MUST BE OFF LEASH TRAINED!

Absolutely no fence jumpers or escape artists!

    Pick-up and drop-off details

Pick-up and drop-off times vary from day to day. Usual Times are between 10am-3pm (but can still vary). We will call a couple of days ahead to inform you of your dogs pick up time. Make sure you get that conformation call!!!

Expect your dog to be picked up and dropped off any time, so you must be home all day on the days you wish for your dog to be picked up or dropped off.

If you are leaving in the morning or early afternoon, you must book the day before. Same goes for drop off times, if you get home late, the drop off date must be the day after.

If you miss a confirmed pick up or drop off time you will have to drive out here to Paradise to either pick-up or drop-off your pup (about 2 1/2 - 3 hour round trip!). Remember that the pick up and drop off service is complimentary, which is very rare, so please make sure you try as hard as possible to be there when we need you to be so that our trip into the city is as smooth/fast as possible.

We do not run into the city everyday, so sometimes we will combine our pick-up and drop-offs to one day instead of several, that way we get to spend more time at the kennel playing with and caring for all of our dogs. If we move you so that your dog's stay is extended you are not charged for the extra days.

You are always welcome to come out and drop-off or pick-up your dog. You have the opportunity to go walking with the dogs and see how we run our facility. Simply e-mail and let us know when you are coming and we will send directions.

What is needed when we pick up your pup:

    1. Reservation form submitted - please make sure your dates and math are correct for payment

    2. Food - Please measure out exactly what your dog will need for his stay here, and place it in a disposable bag. (individual bags for each feeding and containers are not necessary). We also accommodate raw food feeding.

    3. Payment (cash for first time clients please)

    4. Please make sure your dog has not eaten at least 3 hours before your pick up time and has gone to the washroom before the drive.

    FOOD - FORM - PAYMENT - POTTY

Having everything ready to go makes our pick ups faster so that we do not have dogs waiting in the vehicle longer then they need to be.

We have everything your dog needs to be comfortable while at the kennel; a bed, blankets, toys, chews, bowls and leashes. We prefer not to take any personal items of your dog as other guests tend to be very interested in things that smell different and therefore you dogs beloved toy or blanket becomes a chew toy for the other dogs.
